EMBL symbiosis symposium

My group attended the EMBL symposium on “The cellular mechanics of symbiosis”. Josephine presented a poster on her recent work and I gave a talk. It was so exciting to hear about all of the excellent research on various symbioses.

Josephine and I were lucky to attend the EMBL symposium on “The cellular mechanics of symbiosis”. Josephine presented a poster called “How does the environment shape bacterial symbiosis” and I gave a talk entitled “The rarity of prokaryote endosymbioses”. The symposium was a great opportunity to learn about a variety of cool model systems and techniques for studying the mechanisms of symbioses. We thank the organizers and all the participants for making us feel so welcome.
